Steve has been involved in fighting for the rights of victims of crime for over 20 years. He was an executive member of VOCAL with the late Howard Brattan O.M. who was also a tireless advocate for proper justice and who was instrumental in getting Victim Impact Statements up and running in our Courts.

Steve has been at the forefront of making our Judiciary accountable through his networking within the media and his involvement with various groups that assist with the rights and well being of Victims and their families.

He recently played an important part in discussions on the subject of Suspended Sentences with the Sentencing Advisory Council and the way this process should be used.He will continue to lobby for improvements to the Judicial system and maintain his scrutiny on the performance of Judges and Magistrates through this webpage.
